Magadan Region’s gold output falls by 5.5% in Jan–Jun

MAGADAN, Jul 25 (PRIME) -- The combined gold production of companies in Russia’s Magadan Region fell by 5.5% on the year to 18.51 tonnes in January–June, the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry of the region said in a statement on Tuesday.

The region’s silver production shrank by 18.6% to 268.256 tonnes in the period.

In 2022, the region produced 51.4 tonnes of gold and 745.9 tonnes of silver.
